Job Description

Seeking a Technical Writer to join the Platform Support team, writing a variety of technical content including user guides, process documentation, and product reference / educational materials, as well as assisting with the documentation of application programming interfaces (API).

Applicants with experience in these tools and areas will be considered top candidates:

  • Audio / Video recording and editing (Final Cut / Vega Pro)
  • Drupal / Wordpress content development & formatting
  • Confluence creation & editing
  • ITIL Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement processes
  • User-facing technical communication (release / patchnote publishing)

Qualifications:

  • Requires BA/BS Degree in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related technical writing experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Experience with creating effective project/product documentation
  • Basic knowledge of PMI, Product Lifecycle, Agile, and/or other development practices
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in multiple group dynamics from independent contributor to member of a project team
  • MS Office – Word, Excel, Access, Visio
